Senior Composites Research & Development Engineer

Cartridge Limited is seeking to recruit a highly qualified senior engineer to lead the Company’s initiative in developing state-of-the-art processes for the high-speed manufacture of composite components. The engineer will initially be responsible for evaluating the best existing and emerging manufacturing technologies in this field. After this evaluation has been completed, the engineer will recommend a process plan and will assist with its implementation. On an ongoing basis, the engineer will be responsible for insuring that Cartridge remains at the leading edge of composite technology.


  • bachelor degree in engineering and/or materials science;
  • experience in advanced composite manufacturing for open and closed molding (including, but not limited to, RTM and infusion), fiber pre-form design, fabrication and composite tooling;
  • knowledge of manufacturing processes, including lean and six sigma desirable;
  • working knowledge of CAD-based design packages;
  • good verbal and written communication skills; and
  • good team skills and excellent problem solving capabilities.
